I found a whole box of piano sheet music recently. Although a little dog-eared and dusty, the pieces are still in reasonable condition; and took me back to the days of practising for my ABRSM exams!
One of the strangest – and perhaps most unnerving – pieces that I have learnt over the years is probably from one of the great masters, Prokofieff. This was on the syllabus for my Grade 7 piano exam which I passed with merit back in 1999, and has recently been readded to the syllabus for the 2020 Grade 7 exam.
